The Great Thaw

Yesterday as the snow was rapidly melting in front of my door I noticed a pile of black crow feathers in front of my door. For me crow feathers have always been a positive sign. Crows and Ravens are one of my main power animals and whenever I see or connect with them I know my guides are trying to get my attention to share an important message.

The interesting thing about these feathers is that they were not laying on top of the melting snow, they were stuck inside of it. Which means they have been frozen inside for weeks waiting for me to observe them. As I was contemplating what this meant, I thought about my life over the last couple months and some of the really intense emotional experiences I have gone through recently. While I never lost hope, there were times when I felt extremely discouraged and alone. I felt as though I had been completely abandoned, one of my greatest fears in this life.

But as I look back now I realize that was never the case. I had close friends supporting me, family by my side, my sweet pup Finny, my students, cohorts and mentors all around me sharing their love and connection. And even though I might not have been able to feel it directly, my guides were there too, as they always are. Sometimes when our lives are frozen from challenges, or fears or disappointments, we are not able to recognize and see all the support we TRULY have around us at all times. It isn't until that frozen part of us begins to thaw and melt that we realize and SEE the support we have at all times!

When I was in Florida over the last couple weeks those feathers were there in that snow, frozen solid waiting for my return, waiting to be revealed to me. Somewhere inside I knew they were there, I knew I was supported and loved and guided and looked after. EVEN if I couldn't SEE it yet, I could feel it. While we were in Florida, we started noticing the first couple days every time we went to a beach or restaurant there was a front row parking spot. At first it was kind of funny, we kept saying, “Where's our front row spot” and BOOM it would appear. Then it started to be kind of eerie! Literally EVERY SINGLE TIME we went somewhere there was a front row parking spot waiting for us. We had first, NOTICED the alignment, then second EXPECTED the alignment and finally just ACCEPTED that's how it was going to be!!! We were being taken care of by 'unseen' hands and the timing of synchronicity that put us in the right place at the right time and allowed everything to fall into place perfectly for us. Every single time. One night the place we went to was extremely crowded, but instead of getting frustrated and annoyed I just drove around the parking lot, by the time I made one loop a spot cleared out RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR! Lol. You can't make this shit up. LOL It was absolutely incredible.

What I started to realize is that Spirit, Creator, the Universe, YOU in alignment with LOVE is always opening the door for YOU, is always showering you with messages, with blessings, with synchronicity to receive whatever you want and desire, we just need to RELAX, ALLOW and NOTICE it once the snow melts. Once our fears, our doubts our anxieties no longer have a choke hold on our lives, then what you thought you would NEVER find will be right there in the melting snow. And you'll realize, IT WAS THERE ALL ALONG! You just weren't able to see it for the pile of snow it was frozen in.
